Summer 'Scape?

Hey Guys,

Well ... it's May - which is hard to believe - which means that Summer is right around the corner. I wanted to reach out to see if we could plan a gathering of the 4 Boys (Derek, Nomad, Huskies16, and me) for some Heroscape. We could try to expand to other Portland/Vancouver folks but my thought was to get the NW Customs gang together.

I am happy to travel to Battleground for some gaming action.

My Summer is fairly open at the moment, so maybe the Schafte Clan can coordinate a time when we could all get together.

It is also the Summer of Superheroes (yet again) so if we wanted to throw some C3G Super-Scape in there - that would be cool as well.

Let's start planning. I'll take a look at the family calendar for open dates. We aren't planning any big trips the summer.

I am taking a trip back to Pennsylvania next week (I leave Monday 5/19 and return on Memorial Day 5/26). I will probably not be as active on the Forum during that week.

My work is getting busier going into the close of our fiscal year (6/30) but there might be a free weekend in there too.

July/Aug are fairly open right now.

Would love to get some 'Scape on my calendar : P

July looks pretty busy at this point, I think early August might have a few open dates. I'll look a little closer over the weekend. Hope you enjoy your Pennsylvania trip. Should we think about having a tournament in the Vancouver area if we can find a date that works for all 4 of us?

Sure, I'd be down for that ... but more important to hang with my NW Custom Peeps!

White Q Knight is looking at having a tournament July 26, Aug. 2nd or Aug. 9th. Is there a date that works best for you Kai?

August 2nd or 9th would be better.

August 2nd or 9th work better for me as well, probably the 9th would be the better of the two.

I was thinking about bringing some of our NWHC to the Portland Tournament as Bonus Prize Support. I can provide the figures, if you guys could provide the Cards. What do you think?

Any particular figures you'd like to offer to the locals?

That is a great idea, Kai.

I can print up the cards for anything. We can each do a squad or a couple figures for the prize table.

What would be the most interesting and easily accessible figures? I think we should shoot for lower cost and/or most available figures for this tournament in case others get interested or they want more.

Let's do some research.

Great idea Kai. The White Q Knight tourney is the 9th. Sorry I haven't had a chance to be more active here but things have been pretty busy and hectic.
