I have 3 extra of the cheaper/light brown figures if you would like them . . . all of my squads are made up of these figures.

Updated the Op with this wording to keep in line with Tecer.

    Gore

If a Minotaur of Nullondia starts his movement unengaged, you may use Gore. To use Gore, move a Minotaur of Nullondia in a straight line. Choose a figure or destructible object that the Minotaur of Nullondia ends his movement engaged with and roll the 20-sided die.. If you roll a 14 or higher the defending figure or destructible object receives 1 wound. You may add one to your die roll for each space between the defending figure and that Minotaur of Nullondia's original placement. If a Minotaur of Nullondia fails to inflict 1 wound with Gore, he may not attack this turn.

    Just got to thinking . . .

Arrow Gruts have beast bonding. Their card doesn't specify if it that beast has to be a hero or not.

The argument could be made that the Arrow Gruts can bond with a Minotaur of Nullondia.

Yeah, it also could be implied "take a turn with any Beast you control" is singular, so at best you are only taking a turn with one Minotaur. Will this create a bonding loop? We should take a close look at this.

Sounds like it is a Singular versus Plural clarification.

Khosumet is a WOLF. The Anubian Wolves and Wolves of Badru are WOLVES.

As written, it could be interpreted that the Arrow Gruts took a turn with a single Minotaur squad figure. But if they did .. then yes it would let a Minotaur hero go.

    Would it be:

3 Arrow Gruts + 1 Minotaur squad figure + which gets to bond with 1 Minotaur hero first = 5 activations

The Arrow Gruts are Wave 1, and there is some odd wording in that Wave. For example the Romans didn't clarify that it had to be a Human Warlord to bond with, and Taelord basically had Stealth Flying but it wasn't called Stealth Flying until later figures were released.

OP updated with better wording. Since we are changing this should we just change them from beasts to Creatures (or something else) to avoid the arrow grut issue all together.

I think changing their class would be best . . .

    Here are some other options:

    Beastie
    Taurus
    Hewer
    Cretan
    Devourer
    Destroyer
    Brute

I kind of like Hewer, but that is what Torin is and who knows if C3V will have Hewer bonding (I doubt it, like Kai says I think it was odd wording from wave 1).

It is odd wording from the 1st wave, but something we can't get around.

I like Devourer. Let me explain why.

The Dumutef Guard has a +1 attack bonus for Devourers adjacent to them. I think this would be a good thing.

Plus . . . from an online dictionary:

    Min•o•taur

    Pronunciation: (min'u-tôr"),—n.
    1. Class. Myth.a monster, the offspring of Pasiphaë and the Cretan bull, that had the head of a bull on the body of a man: housed in the Cretan Labyrinth, it was fed on human flesh until Theseus, helped by Ariadne, killed it.
    2. any person or thing that devours or destroys.

    Devourer it is then.

with the discovery of adjacent/engaged being the same I might toy with the wording before updating the card.

I think it is OK to leave engaged in. The Minotaurs probably don't wouldn't want to attack a friendly.

As Devourers, Minotaurs get an extra attack die if adjacent to a Dumutef.
