Cleric squad - brainstorming Empty Cleric squad - brainstorming

I know that we were looking for more Squads for our next Wave.

I found these three D&D mini's that all have a Mace or Morning Star and was thinking about a Squad of Clerics that had some minor healing (Cure Light Wounds) and maybe a Protection from Evil (Defense boost).  They could bond with Clerics (Ana, Bishop Thaddeus).

If they had Cure Wounds on a d20 like Rhogar or Kelda, then you could spread out the squad for 3 healing rolls on separate figures, or potentially up to 3 healing rolls on one hero {like a Hydra}.  Maybe there power is ".. instead of attacking" they can Heal.

    First Idea:

    ACOLYTES OF PELOR

    General:  Jandar
    Planet: Eberron

    Species: Human
    Unique Squad
    Class: Cleric
    Personality: Devout
    Medium 4

    Life: 1
    Move: 5
    Range: 1
    Attack: 3
    Defense: 4
    110 Points

    CURE LIGHT WOUNDS
An Acolyte of Pelor that does not attack may use Cure Light Wounds.  Chose a wounded hero adjacent to that Acolyte and roll the 20-sided die.  If you roll a 9 or higher, remove 1 wound marker from the chosen figure's Army Card.  Cure Lights Wounds may not be used on Constructs or Destructible Objects.

    HOLY ORDER BONDING
Before taking a turn with the Acolytes of Pelor, you may first take a turn with any Paladin or Cleric you control.

It will take me a while to feel good about squad figures healing unique heroes, which hasn't been done before. Let me theory-scape some more.

The Holy Order Bonding power would need to be renamed, since it is slightly different for the Sacred Fusiliers, which already bonds with Clerics, including Ana K, who can heal as well. These guys would bond with Rhogar, who has the healing power as well . . . so that only inflates the potential to heal.

Much to think about here before progressing. Could be cool, but I will need to get my mind around it. I suggest changing the Class to Paladin instead of Cleric.
