In the playtesting I thought he was pretty fun. I think he could get dangerously good if allowed to put more than 1 per turn. 5 is pretty scary but didn't seem too overwhelming.

Since there are other figures with Frenzy, should we specify that only Kooko-makwa gets the bonus?

I'd say Go For It! I think the +5 max. is solid and he was fun to play. I think we'd be awesome with the River Tribe to give him some fire-support.
