Regarding the suggestions on changing his powers, I still prefer the original that we play tested him with.

Good start on the bio. Maybe we can add something about where he comes from.

Alright we can call that good. Final points at 140, 145, or 150? I think 145 works for me. Will take any suggestions for the bio that you have.

Armed with his staff and dragon Kyrllin is a formidable foe. His dragon can drop the most powerful of enemies in one poisonous sting, while the mystical powers channeled through his staff often confuse his adversaries. They think Kyrllin is where he is not, and often do not see his attack coming.
It would be cool if Kyrlin's dragon had a surname .. though I looked at Sonlen's bio information and his dragon does not have a name.

Re: W1 Kyrllin RELEASED
I am completely open if we want to give the Dragon a name (I hate picking names, so suggestions are needed), I'll also love any other feedback, rewrites, suggestions, etc. I'll try and work in the planet he comes from in a rewrite when I have a chance.

Re: W1 Kyrllin RELEASED
What do you think of this Bio? I added some details and key-words from D&D to give more flavor from that game into this custom.
Hailing from the harsh world of Toril, Kyrlin is a renowned master of magic specializing the School of Illusions. As an illusionist, Kyrlin can cast spells that affect all of an opponent’s senses – full visual images to mimic the animate and inanimate as well as hallucinations that only affect the mind of a specific target. With his ability to overwhelm a target’s senses, opponents find attacking Kyrlin to be incredibly challenging, as he can conceal his true location and movements. As an experienced combat-mage, Kyrlin can also weave a series of illusionary strikes, which keeps his enemies off balance. For example, an attacker might rush forward and swing, only to find his blade passing through a mirror image of Kyrlin. Or his assailants might hear the roar of a dragon behind them and whirl to find nothing there.
In battle, Kyrlin focuses his magic through his mystic staff. When illusions are channeled through the staff start as harmless tricks of the mind and become lethal psychic attacks. The source of these strikes originates with Kyrlin but the attack often comes from within the target’s own mind. This makes defending against the phantasmal forces extremely difficult.
To compliment his sorcerous powers, Kyrlin travels with a diminutive but powerful magically familiar named Zadarra. An off-shoot of the dragonkin of Toril, Zadarra has leathery wings and scales, and a deadly poisonous sting that can drop the most powerful enemies in one strike.

Re: W1 Kyrllin RELEASED
How did the playtest go with the Special Attack at 3 dice instead of 2?

Re: W1 Kyrllin RELEASED
never ran them. Damon and I played a few more games at status quo and he was formidable enough. I lean towards the high end on pointing characters so 150 is good. 140 is good to make Kyrllin an A unit. combined with Sonlen they are pretty fun. Add Raelin (a bit annoying) order markers get tough and they are swarmed easy enough, so ultimately pretty content with current stats and points.

Re: W1 Kyrllin RELEASED
We are going with 140 points as listed in the OP, right? I think that would be best, in my opinion.

I like how you fogged out the blurry parts. Looks pretty good to me. When this guy gets released we need to note the 2nd edition dice use.

Re: W1 Kyrllin RELEASED
I'll take that Kyrllin is final and ready to be released.
I really think this guy is too cool for Heroscape. Great design that bends the typical play in many ways. I'll build an army around him just for fun! And fun is what it is all about.
Nice job, Derek!

Sorry I didn't catch the small or medium part not being on the card but I would like to keep it there if possible.
